Organizational Structure of the Health Care System in Koshi Province
1. Provincial Ministry Level
- Ministry of Social Development (MoSD), Koshi Province
- Responsible for formulating provincial health policies, programs, and budgets.
- Oversees implementation of federal health programs at the provincial level.
- Coordinates with the Federal Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and local governments.
Key Divisions Under MoSD:
- Health Directorate, Koshi Province (เคธเฅเคตเคพเคธเฅเคฅเฅเคฏ เคจเคฟเคฐเฅเคฆเฅเคถเคจเคพเคฒเคฏ)
- Technical arm of the MoSD.
- Provides technical guidance and supervises all health programs and institutions in the province.
- Coordinates logistics, human resources, and service delivery mechanisms.
2. Provincial Health Training Center (PHTC)
- Responsible for training and capacity building of health workers within the province.
3. Provincial Public Health Laboratory (PPHL)
- Conducts advanced public health laboratory testing.
- Supports disease surveillance and outbreak investigations.

- Frontline health facility.
- Offers immunization, ANC/PNC, nutrition, family planning, and minor treatment services.

- Outreach clinics for underserved areas.
- Community Health Units / Outreach Clinics / EPI Clinics
- Run by HP/PHCC for immunization, family planning, and basic care.
